    Preferred Shaft Flex

Recommendations for players who CONSISTENTLY hit their 7-iron:

    • Ladies: Less than 120 yards.
    • Senior: 120-135 yards.
    • Regular: 135-155 yards. Most common flex.
    • Stiff: 155-175 yards.
    • Extra Stiff: 175 yards or more.

Beginning golfers who are not in the Ladies or Senior shaft flex category should select Regular Flex Shafts.

    Preferred Shaft Material

GRAPHITE shafts are vibration-dampening, lightweight options. They produce a softer feel, a higher launch, and more speed for improved distance.

STEEL shafts are designed to maximize consistency and provide a stable feel for stronger players. Steel shafts are generally heavier than graphite and are available in a variety of weights and stiffness profiles to help optimize your launch conditions.

    Preferred Grip Size

Measure your hand, crease to finger tip.

    • Undersize: less than 6.5"
    • Standard: 6.5" to 8"
    • Midsize: 8" to 9"
    • Oversize: more than 9"

    Great Purchase

"Purchased the Wildcat 5W with the Project X Denali Frost Blue 60 5. 5 shaft and Golf Pride MultiCompound +4 Grey grip, and it arrived right on schedule 12 days later. Right out of the box, the club looked fantastic and matched my order exactly. I spent most of my last range session hitting this club, and I can already tell it’s going to become one of my favorites. It’s incredibly forgiving and produced some of the best results I’ve had with any club—high launch, straight ball flight, and even more distance than my current 3W. Even on mishits, I was still seeing solid distance and impressive ball flight. If you’re looking for a game-improvement fairway wood, this is absolutely a club worth considering."

"Continual daily rain since my purchase, has made a review difficult. The few rounds of golf were successful by using this golf club. Trajectory, direction, and distance were good."

    I really enjoy this club.

"I really enjoy this club. It’s been wet, cold, and windy in NW Ohio all Spring and my new Wildcat 5 Wood has provided extra distance and accuracy in these tough weather conditions. It does a superb job of getting through the thick , wet, grass that our Country Club possesses."

    So incredibly easy to hit.

"So incredibly easy to hit. I struggled with a hybrid for years and finally made my switch to this club. The only thing that makes me sad is that I didn't do this years ago."

"I had been using an "5-Wood(Metal)" for about 30 years, before deciding to try this PXG model. Although I don't hit the new one any further(possibly less) than the old one, I find myself hitting more accurate shots than I had been with the old one. I'm glad that I decided to give PXG a try!"

    Replaced my Ping 3 hybrid

"Replaced my Ping 3 hybrid and very happy I did. Been using for a few months and have not hit a bad shot yet. Great distance with high soft landing."

    Easiest and sweeter 5 Wood

"Easiest and sweeter 5 Wood I ever played. I had a old Titleist 5 Wood that I thought was the absolute best for me. The PXG Wildcat far superior of anything I tried in the last 2 decades."
