Ria Scott here, women’s golf coach at the University of Oregon and PXG National Staff member. We’re here at Eugene Country Club today to show you a couple tips on how to hit that high flop shot.
So, my players know that I’m a huge fan of lowering the handle, in order to hit these high lobs. Lowering the handle exposes the bounce on the bottom of your club, promotes a wide and low setup, as well as encourages you to come in shallow into the ball.
So here we go. We’re gonna get in our setup, lower the handle, get low and wide, soft arms, full finish and let the speed create the height. I hope you never put yourself in this position. But if you do, I hope those couple of tips helps you.
