Hi. I’m Bob Parsons, founder of YAM Worldwide, Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale, Parsons Xtreme Golf and GoDaddy.com. I’m also a United States Marine and a Vietnam War veteran.
This November 10th marks the 244th birthday of the United States Marine Corps, followed by Veterans Day on November 11th. To pay tribute to these anniversaries, we have partnered with the Semper Fi Fund to provide financial support for wounded, critically ill, and injured members of all branches the United States Armed Forces and their families.
Thanks to all our donors, last year we exceeded our goal; raising more than $20 million dollars. And we want to do even better this year. Here’s how you can help: visit semperfifund.org/match. Give what you can, and The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation will match your donation dollar-for-dollar up to $10 million dollars.
For fifteen years it has been our distinct honor to produce an annual U.S. Marine Corps birthday tribute and Veteran’s Day celebration video.
Last year’s video was by far our best, and since this year we will be sending it to many more recipients, we decided to show it again.
Happy Birthday, Mother Green. Happy Veterans Day one and all. Semper Fi. And a special message to all of you from those of us who served in the Vietnam War—thanks for all you did and most of all—Welcome Home.
This video is called, “Letters Home.” Now please sit back and enjoy!
