New PXG Putters Offer a Modern Take on a Classic Design

Scottsdale, AZ (Nov. 27, 2024) – PXG, the renowned golf equipment and apparel brand, announces the release of its special edition PXG Tour Series putters, the Brandon and Brandon II. Available while supplies last, these contemporary blade-style putters stand out for both performance and aesthetics.

Crafted from 100% milled 303 stainless steel, the PXG® Tour SeriesTM Brandon® and Brandon® II putters deliver exceptional feedback and control for golfers who demand precision in their game. They feature a shallow fly-cut face that creates a tour-inspired response, enhancing the overall feel and feedback. Additionally, the putters come with two adjustable sole weights, allowing for versatile customization to suit individual player preferences and stroke tendencies. Finally, the plumber’s neck hosel is specifically designed to create a mid-toe hang angle, making it ideal for players who exhibit moderate face rotation during their putting stroke.

The PXG Tour Series features two distinct putter styles that cater to different preferences. The PXG Tour Series Brandon putter showcases a high-contrast sight line and soft ballasts, creating a sleek and more rounded appearance. The PXG Tour Series Brandon II putter combines a high-contrast sight line with defined ballasts, creating a more squared look. These options provide golfers with a clean, modern take on a classic putter with an aesthetic choice between a softer, more subtle or aggressively defined design.

The striking Dancing DarknessTM Insignia on the sole not only adds to the aesthetic appeal but also highlights the craftsmanship involved in the overall club design.

“These new putters are absolutely beautiful and a formidable ally on any green in the hands of the right golfer,” PXG Founder and CEO Bob Parsons stated.

These putters are ideally suited for skilled or low-handicap players who have a finely tuned stroke, as they offer unparalleled feedback for enhanced consistency. They also cater to traditionalists who appreciate the minimalist design and rich history associated with blade-style putters. Additionally, the Brandon and Brandon II putters are ideal for golfers with a strong feel for putting, as the precise milling provides the tactile feedback that many experienced players desire.

The new PXG Tour Series Brandon and Brandon II putters are now available for $499.99 and can be customized in-store, online, or over the phone. Visit www.PXG.com or call 844.PLAY.PXG to learn more.

$10 Million Double Down for Veterans Match Campaign & Enhanced PXG for Heroes Program Underscore PXG’s Unwavering Commitment to the Military and Veteran Community

Scottsdale, AZ (Nov. 11, 2024) – PXG, a proud veteran-owned golf and apparel company, is excited to announce a series of impactful initiatives this November to honor and support our military heroes.

Double Down for Veterans, Happening Now

This year, PXG® will collaborate with Semper Fi & America’s® Fund (The Fund) and The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation® in the Double Down for Veterans Match CampaignTM. This initiative aims to support service members, veterans, and military families by matching donations made to The Fund, dollar-for-dollar, up to $10 million through the end of the year.

Over the past two decades, The Fund has provided $500 million in financial grants, programs, and services, assisting more than 33,000 combat-wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, and military families. With more than 2,000 service members seeking first-time support each year, the need continues and, for many, lasts for a lifetime. Therefore, The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation with support from PXG will continue its tradition of giving with the Double Down for Veterans Match.

“As a U.S. Marine, I know the fight doesn’t end when you return home. Veterans continue to confront challenges—seen and unseen—as do their loved ones,” said Bob Parsons, U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam War Veteran and founder of PXG. “This is where The Fund steps in, providing personalized support in moments of need and helping veterans and their families thrive. This isn’t charity—it’s about doing what’s right for those who’ve given everything.”

Donors looking to double the impact of their donation can visit, www.TheFund.org for more information.

Enhanced PXG for Heroes Program

In addition to the matching campaign, PXG is proud to enhance its PXG for Heroes Program®, which is designed to support military personnel, veterans, first responders, and now current nurses and teachers. Verified participants in the program can access exclusive discounts on a wide selection of PXG golf equipment, apparel, and accessories, making it more affordable to enjoy the game. The enhanced program provides even better deals, 20% off PXG golf clubs and 30% off PXG apparel while maintaining the exceptional service experience all PXG customers have come to know and trust.

Heroes Night with The Fund at PXG, November 19

To help foster community and connection, PXG will host a Heroes Night with The Fund at PXGTM across 25 PXG Retail Stores on November 19, 2024, from 3:00 – 6:00 PM local time. PXG UK will also participate with the support of the On Course FoundationTM. This event, open to all veterans and service members, aims to connect current and former military personnel directly with the services offered by The Fund and On Course Foundation UK while also creating the opportunity for engagement in golf-related activities. The event will feature an all-store full-swing competition called the PXG CombineTM, entry-level golf experiences, and a special golf ball design activity for kids.

“As a veteran-owned company, we understand the many benefits of sport and more specifically golf,” said PXG Chief Marketing Officer and co-founder of The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation, Renee Parsons. “Golf has helped thousands of military veterans assimilate into their community through the social interaction the game provides while also being a treatment modality. We are committed to empowering the military and first-responder community by offering exclusive access to special events and the tools they need—equipment and apparel—to make the most of their experience on the golf course.”

Benefits of Golf & Community

Golf as a Path to Recover – Veterans are encouraged to view golf as more than just a game; it’s a valuable tool for healing. The sport provides a low-pressure environment to get outdoors, practice mindfulness, and engage in physical activity that supports mental health, recovery, and personal well-being.

Building Community Through Golf – Golf creates opportunities for veterans to connect with others, fostering camaraderie and belonging. Whether on the course or at events like Heroes Night with The Fund at PXG, the game offers a platform for veterans and service members to forge meaningful connections, integrate into their local communities, and combat social isolation.

Support is Available – Veterans grappling with challenges don’t have to navigate their journey alone. The Fund is dedicated to assisting veterans and military families to build the community they need to thrive. While the On Course Foundation in the UK builds confidence and community through golf.

PXG on TOUR, November 21-24

The RSM Classic® salutes the men and women who serve and have served in the armed forces. Along with the Davis Love FoundationTM and RSM, PXG and other sponsors invite all active and retired servicemen and women with proper ID to come and enjoy the tournament at no charge plus complimentary access to the Heroes Outpost located near #9 green. Additionally, PXG will also host a fun and free full-swing experience all week for tournament patrons with daily challenges and prizes.

Bob & Renee Parsons Open the Gates to their Exclusive Desert Property to Accommodate Prestigious Service Academy Golf Tournament

Scottsdale, AZ (October 11, 2024) – Scottsdale National Golf Club® in Scottsdale, Arizona, made a game-changing gesture by offering its world-class private courses to host the prestigious annual Commander-in-Chief’s CupTM presented by Callaway®. This act of goodwill came in the turmoil of the impending Hurricane Milton, which threatened to disrupt the tournament’s original venue, the Seminole Golf ClubTM in Juno Beach, Florida.

The Commander-in-Chief’s Cup is a highly anticipated event that showcases the talents of collegiate golf teams from the United States Military Academy® (USMA), the United States Naval Academy® (USNA), and the United States Air Force Academy® (USAFA). In light of the impending storm, the tournament organizers faced the daunting task of finding a new, safe location to accommodate these esteemed service academy golf teams on extremely short notice.

Upon being made aware of the situation, PXG Founder and U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran Bob Parsons offered the use of his exclusive desert property at Scottsdale National Golf Club to ensure that the tournament could proceed without disruption.

“Earlier this week, when we realized we needed an alternate course to host this year’s Commander-in-Chief’s Cup, Bob Parsons was our first call,” said Billy Hurley, CIC Cup Board Member, United States Naval Academy Class of 2004 and PGA TOUR winner. “Within 36 hours of our initial contact, he confirmed that Scottsdale National would be our new venue. We are incredibly grateful to Bob and Renee Parsons, as well as the entire Scottsdale National membership and staff, for rolling out the red carpet for our service academy student-athletes. The Other Course will provide a terrific test of golf, and we look forward to seeing who takes home the CIC Cup on Tuesday.”

The Parsons have long supported all three schools’ golf programs through PXG, offering valuable resources and custom-fitted equipment to the dedicated players. As such, the opportunity to step up in the throes of a potential disaster was an easy decision.

“I have the utmost respect for Chip Brewer and Callaway for their support of this marquee event. Years ago, at the beginning of the Covid virus pandemic, Chip Brewer stepped up to offer PXG the use of Callaway’s tour truck.  I’ve never forgotten that. That made helping Chip and Callaway an easy decision,” Bob Parsons said. “I also admire these student athletes tremendously for their commitment to golf, school, and serving our country. When I heard that the tournament needed to be moved and Chip was the man behind the event, it was an easy decision to open the gates at Scottsdale National. Chip, if there’s a better man than you anywhere, I’ve yet to meet him.”

Renee Parsons, President & Executive Creative Director for PXG Apparel and hospitality lead at Scottsdale National Golf Club, added, “We are honored to provide an exceptional playing experience for these young golfers and introduce them to the outstanding hospitality that Scottsdale National is known for.”

The tournament participants will have the unprecedented opportunity to showcase their skills on The Other Course at Scottsdale National Golf Club, a challenging track designed by Jackson Kahn Design. (You read it right, Scottsdale National’s signature golf course is indeed named The Other Course.) This course features a unique layout with six par-3, six par-4, and six par-5 configurations, offering the players a diverse and thrilling golfing experience.

Bob and Renee Parsons’ commitment to supporting the military and first responder golf community extends far beyond hosting the prestigious golf event and their support for the service academies. In 2018, they established the PXG for Heroes® program, which provides special pricing and exceptional experiences to members of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, as well as to law enforcement officers, firefighters, and EMTs. Since its inception, this program has positively impacted hundreds of thousands of verified heroes in their pursuit of lower scores and increased enjoyment of the game.

Continuing their mission to support and honor those who make significant contributions to society, the Parsons recently announced the expansion of the PXG for Heroes program to include teachers. This expansion recognizes the invaluable role that educators play in shaping the future and will provide them with the same access to special pricing and outstanding experiences as a token of appreciation for their dedication to inspiring our nation’s youth and young adults.

Fire in the Hole! offers an unflinching, yet inspirational, account of Bob Parsons’ humble upbringing to his meteoric rise as one of early tech’s pioneers

NEW YORK, May 7, 2024 – GoDaddy, PXG, and YAM Worldwide founder Bob Parsons today made his literary debut with the release of his first book, FIRE IN THE HOLE! THE UNTOLD STORY OF MY TRAUMATIC LIFE AND EXPLOSIVE SUCCESS (May 7; Forefront Books). For all those who think they know this American entrepreneur and philanthropist, the book is filled with untold tales and revelations from an optimist who dreamed big and imagined all that was possible – even if the cards seemed stacked against him. The book is now available through all major retailers.

“It is honest, hilarious, outrageous and raw. This is a story of how I started with absolutely nothing and made over $3 billion,” said Bob Parsons, who is embarking on a national book tour that will bring him through several major U.S. cities, including New York, Dallas, and Chicago.

A descendant of coal miners, Parsons grew up in the 1950s in a blue-collar, working-class neighborhood in East Baltimore. His early experiences reveal an innate resiliency that got him through a harrowing tour of duty in Vietnam as a United States Marine and the early years at his first company, Parsons Technology. The book goes on to share the bold business decisions that would eventually make him one of the wealthiest people in the world, with a net worth of $3.6 billion according to the Forbes 400 2023 list of the richest people in America.

“As the title of this book, Fire in the Hole! suggests, Bob has dodged a lot of grenades in life, but it was more than luck that led him to where he is today,” Carlton W. Kent, 16th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, stated. “Bob’s story touched me personally, and I enthusiastically recommend this book to others to gain insight on their own personal journey to reaching success in life.”

Parsons also delves into his experience with PTSD, brought on by early childhood trauma and his combat duty in Vietnam, and the efforts he has made to treat it with novel therapeutic uses of psychedelics, including psilocybin, which finally brought him “home.” This is particularly timely, given recent efforts to gain FDA approval for the use of the drug MDMA, and the efforts of several states, including California, to legalize psychedelic therapy. Parsons recently testified in his home state of Arizona in support of the legalization of psychedelic-assisted therapy. He has also donated millions to research and therapist training in this area.

In addition to his business success, Parsons writes about his shift toward philanthropy in 2012, when he and his wife Renee established The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation to reach low-income and underserved populations, marginalized communities, and causes often overlooked or underfunded by mainstream philanthropy. The Foundation focuses on the areas of youth and education, health and home, military and first responders, and the American dream. Since inception, the foundation has donated more than $300 million to 96 charities.

He’s an everyman who has made it. He’s authentic. And his reflections on life, business, and giving back are heartbreaking, heartwarming, humorous, and inspiring.

“Bob Parsons is an American original. He is a visionary and inspiration and has the stories to prove it. Fire in the Hole! is as interesting and outrageous as the man himself,” actor, producer and author Rob Lowe concluded.

For Tech Sgt. Leonard Anderson, an Air Force veteran who served his country with unwavering dedication for 14 years, PXG Dallas, became a symbol of hope and resilience, thanks to the support of one of our devoted fitters.

Sgt. Anderson’s life took an unexpected turn during his second tour in Iraq when an IED left him with physical injuries and emotional scars that earned him a Purple Heart Award. His love for golf played a significant role in his rehabilitation, giving him a reason to stay physically and mentally active. However, finding clubs that catered to his unique needs proved challenging.

Since high school, Sgt. Anderson quotes golf as being a constant in his life. While he didn’t play competitively, the sport was an outlet for emotional and mental release with the added benefit of spending time with his comrades. His passion for golf carried him through his military service. However, he lacked the grip strength to play after he was injured, preventing him from making shots within 100 yards. Determined, he experimented by attaching pieces of hose to the end of three club shafts, but the makeshift adjustments continued to limit his game.

Frustrated after falling short of success with several other stores, Sgt. Anderson turned to PXG Dallas, recalling their support at a 4 the Fallen fundraiser where he is the program director for prosthetics. His journey to finding the perfect golf clubs began with a chance encounter with Jay McIlroy, one of the experienced fitters and certified club builders at PXG Dallas. Jay didn’t hesitate to help Sgt. Anderson, taking the time to understand his unique needs. They discussed his swing, concerns, and goals on the golf course. Drawing inspiration from PXG’s founder, Bob Parsons, a fellow veteran and Purple Heart recipient, Jay’s commitment to helping Sgt. Anderson went far beyond the norm for a fitter in any other golf store.

“I just thought of Mr. Parsons and what he would do, and that would be everything and anything he possibly could,” said Jay McIlroy, PXG Dallas Fitter.

Jay started by selecting stock PXG equipment that would provide Sgt. Anderson with both performance and comfort.

“The process itself was fairly easy. Jay took time out of his day to help me and get the journey started,” Sgt. Leonard Anderson said. “Other people wanted to try and reinvent the wheel, but it didn’t feel right. If you’re not the one swinging it, it’s hard to explain the feeling.”

However, Sgt. Anderson’s story didn’t end there. He needed extensions from the VA for his prosthetics for the clubs to fit, and the irons and wedges posed more of a challenge. Undeterred, Jay went the extra mile, taking the clubs home after work and making small adjustments that would make a world of difference for Sgt. Anderson.

“Taking time out of my personal day means nothing because this is something I wanted to get perfect,” Jay said. “This is an absolute honor for me. This is what I live for, something simple that makes all the difference for him. I’ve got chill bumps!”

The customization process was meticulous. Jay tailored the club lengths, lofts, and lies to accommodate Sgt. Anderson’s unique stance and swing. The result was a set of golf clubs that felt like a natural extension of Sgt. Anderson’s body, allowing him to regain his confidence and continue his path to recovery.

“It’s hard to explain what it means to me. There’s a lot to be said for someone who jumps in feet first into finding a solution. Other companies don’t give you that option unless you’re willing to spend a lot of money. PXG had that personal ability to do this for me, and once we started discussing the Heroes program, I knew it was right,” Sgt. Leonard Anderson said. “To be treated that way blew me away. It was very nice to walk into a place and be treated like I had two hands.”

For Sgt. Leonard Anderson, PXG Dallas and the exceptional support he received from Jay weren’t just about finding the perfect golf clubs. It was a testament to the power of resilience, determination, and the belief that anyone, regardless of their circumstances, can find their place on the fairway.

Semper Fi & America’s Fund announce a dollar-for-dollar match benefitting critically ill and injured service members, veterans, and military families

Camp Pendleton, CA (October 26, 2023) – For the 12th consecutive year, Semper Fi & America’s Fund (The Fund) is partnering with The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation (The Foundation) and PXG (Parsons Xtreme Golf) for the Double Down for Veterans match campaign. Through the end of the year, The Foundation, with support from PXG, will generously match up to $10 million in donations made to The Fund. If met, this match will bring support of The Fund from The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation and PXG to $100 million!

The Fund will celebrate its 20th anniversary this Spring. Since its inception in 2004, it has given more than $320 million in grants to support 31,000 combat-wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, and military families.

One service member, Marine Sergeant Gabe Martinez, lost both his legs when struck by an IED in Afghanistan. When Gabe returned home to be reunited with his wife of three months, Semper Fi & America’s Fund stepped in to help him overcome the challenges of returning to civilian life and managing his injury. With support from The Fund, Gabe was provided adaptive equipment that enabled him to embrace an active lifestyle, rock climbing and running marathons. Today, The Fund still stands by Gabe’s side, offering lifetime support for him and his family.

“Serving our service members, veterans, and military families for the past 19 years has been such an honor,” said Karen Guenther, President, CEO, and Founder of Semper Fi & America’s Fund. “I am so grateful to Bob and Renee Parsons for their unwavering support of our Nation’s heroes. Their generosity, through the Double Down for Veterans match campaign and beyond, has helped countless veterans achieve their highest level of independence and well-being.”

As many service members battle lifelong effects — physical, mental, and emotional — of combat-related injuries or illnesses, one of the critical characteristics of The Fund is lifelong support. The Fund accompanies service members and veterans through the highs and lows, with case managers to check in regularly and other support for as long as needed.

“Transitioning away from military service, whether planned or unplanned due to injury, is never easy,” said Bob Parsons, Marine Corps Vietnam War Veteran, Co-Founder of The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation and Founder and CEO of PXG. “Often times these service men, women, and families are carrying both visible and invisible wounds that they’re unprepared to deal with. That’s where The Fund comes in, providing a unique level of support during their time of need.”

Parsons issued the Double Down for Veterans challenge via a moving video address in which he discusses his own personal challenge with PTSD.

Since it began in 2012, the Double Down for Veterans match campaign has raised $193 million thanks to the thousands of donors who, year after year, have looked forward to participating in the annual match from The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation and PXG. These funds have helped support 31,000 service members, veterans, and military families in The Fund’s care.

“Bob and I have a deep commitment to our military families – those who safeguard and preserve our Nation’s freedom,” said Renee Parsons, Co-founder of The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation and President and Executive Creative Director of PXG Apparel. “The Fund’s unique model of lifetime assistance ensures they always have the care and support they need.  And we are honored to partner, personally and through PXG, to provide the hope and unparalleled care they deserve.”

All donations can be made at thefund.org/donate.

“I couldn’t have planned for a better way to finish out the season. I truly appreciate everyone who has stood by me this year, including my wife, coach, and the team at PXG, to make sure I was equipped and ready to play my best,” shared PXG Tour Professional Paul Barjon.

Barjon was among several PXG Tour Professionals who received their PGA TOUR cards over the weekend, including Jake Knapp, Patrick Fishburn, Ryan McCormick, and Kevin Dougherty.

“What a great finish to a good season for Paul Barjon,” Parsons stated. “With today’s hard-earned victory, Paul joins four other PXG Troops in receiving their PGA TOUR cards for the upcoming season. Kaboom baby!”

PXG Provides Support for Veteran-led Disaster Relief Organization Team Rubicon

Scottsdale, AZ (August 11, 2023) – PXG, a company dedicated to developing the world’s finest golf equipment and apparel, today announced a one-million-dollar donation to Team Rubicon, a veteran-led disaster relief organization. The funds will support Team Rubicon’s ability to provide immediate support in Maui, Hawaii.

By pairing the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders, medical professionals, and technology solutions, the organization mobilizes highly trained teams to provide the greatest impact possible.

“Team Rubicon quickly coordinates and deploys trained military veterans, first responders, and civilians as volunteers for disaster relief efforts,” PXG Founder and CEO Bob Parsons stated. “We have witnessed the dedicated volunteers who make up its ranks fall in to embrace and empower devastated communities. Today, we look to bolster their efforts in Maui and help their boots on the ground to do what they do best.”

“In the past ten years, Team Rubicon has built a dedicated team of over 1,000 Greyshirt volunteer leaders in Hawaii. Currently, we have boots on the ground and are in close communication with local authorities and emergency managers to offer our immediate help in shelter set ups, food distribution, donation management and distribution, and staff for the local Emergency Operation Center,” said Art delaCruz, Team Rubicon CEO. “We are extremely grateful to our partners at PXG for their unwavering commitment to supporting those in need.”

Over the years, Team Rubicon has supported the communities of Hawaii with fire mitigation projects and operations on several of the islands. In May, volunteers conducted a wildfire mitigation operation in Honolulu at the request of Hawaii Firewise. Team Rubicon last supported the island of Maui with a storm response in December 2021.

This isn’t the first time that PXG has supported Team Rubicon. Following Hurricane Harvey in 2017, PXG’s commitment of one million dollars helped fuel Team Rubicon’s immediate response. The donation also helped kick-off a pilot “Rebuild” program committed to rebuilding 100 homes in the Houston area. Similarly, PXG’s million-dollar donation for Hurricane Irma relief funded much of the response.

A committed partner, PXG also supported Hurricane Florence relief efforts and, through an innovative “Essential Face Mask” campaign led by President and Executive Creative Director of PXG Apparel Renee Parsons, helped raise awareness of Team Rubicon’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors COVID-19 initiative.

PXG supported relief efforts in Louisiana in 2020. Within hours of Hurricane Laura making landfall, Team Rubicon was on the ground working to clear roadways to help first responders. In the hours and days following, Team Rubicon deployed more Greyshirts to Louisiana and Texas, ultimately resulting in over 800 volunteer deployments between the two states during their response work. In the wake of the storm PXG Founder and CEO Bob Parsons traveled to Louisiana to see Team Rubicon’s efforts in action and evaluate the devastation in-person. As a result of the visit, PXG and The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation donated two-million dollars to support the needs of the Louisiana community.
