With six official PXG stores, dozens of mobile fitters, and scores of custom fitting partners across the country, there are a number of places to experience our high-performance golf club technology.
A SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY
For those military veterans whose jobs require them to stay on or close to base, we’ve deployed an extra special opportunity to test drive PXG clubs. We are pleased to offer world’s finest golf equipment to past and present members of the Marine Corps, Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard at select military course locations.
ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
While there are thousands of locations where golfers can experience PXG clubs during a custom fitting, quick swing session, or on the course as part of a special rental program, there are 24 locations dedicated to the military community. At each of these locations, golfers can experience the unique performance behind PXG clubs on the driving range or rent PXG golf clubs for a longer test drive on the course.
We must warn you though … once you swing them, we’re pretty sure you’re going to want them. So, we have made ordering a custom set equally easy. The process is straightforward and fun. Simply go to pxg.com/heroes to:
- Instantly verify your eligibility for special pricing via iD.me
- Configure your golf clubs and throw in any additional gear or PXG Apparel that you might need for the golf course
- Submit your order
Bang, done!
WHY THE MILITARY
PXG founder Bob Parsons bleeds red, white, and blue. A United States Marine who served at the height of the Vietnam War, Parsons attributes everything he has ever accomplished to his time in the Marine Corps. From our MOS-inspired PXG club naming convention to our commitment to excellence and focus on serving our nation’s finest, Parsons honors his military roots.
Making PXG clubs available at military courses through the PXG for Heroes program is just one more way we are able to show our support.
THE CHOSEN ONES
There are a lot of great military courses out there, so why did we choose these specific ones? When Parsons decided to launch this initiative, he put PXG Special Director, Marine Corps Colonel (Ret) Kevin Hudson on the job. A former attack pilot, Hudson returned to the place he was known best to kick-off the program – his former base at Camp Pendleton, CA.
“When I first started pitching this idea to the golf pros at these courses, they thought I was pulling their leg,” Hudson admitted. “But they gave it a try because I’m a Marine Colonel and there is a trust factor amongst fellow Marines/vets.”
With rave reviews from early adopters about the program and clubs, more and more courses expressed interest in participating. At the end of the day, we chose locations with good foot traffic, year-round play, and the biggest reach so we could serve the most golfers.
