Your shaft flex affects how easy it is to hit the ball well. Here’s a simple guide:
Smooth, moderate swings? Choose Regular (R) for a balanced feel.
Slower, easier swings? Pick Senior (A) or Ladies (L)* flex for more height and distance.
* Ladies (L) flex will come stock at ½ inch shorter in full swing clubs, and 1 inch shorter in the putter length than the Regular (R) or Senior (A) Flexes.
Not sure? If you’re new to golf, Regular (R) is usually a safe starting point for men, and Ladies (L) flex for ladies! -
Choose the side you naturally lead with when writing, throwing, or swinging a club, bat, or racket.
- Right-handed? Choose right-handed dexterity.
