Fitting Locations Near MeFollowing your tour-caliber club fitting, your unique club specifications are provided to our team of PXG Master Builders. With painstaking care and precision, our builders assemble each component to exact tolerances ensuring the clubhead, shaft, grip, swing weight, loft, lie, and length are exactly as ordered.
Once built and closely inspected, your clubs are black-boxed and prepared for delivery.
Step
1
We start by checking to make sure the correct equipment is pulled from inventory, everything matches your order sheet, and various components are prepared for the build.
All components go to a single build team who will hand craft every club in an order from start to finish. On the build shop floor, orders go through multiple areas which each focus on a specific expertise to ensure the highest standard of build.
Step
2
To start the build we cut your shafts based on your fitting specifications.
Step
3
Using the same swing weight scales use by our fitters, we'll weigh and tip weights to make sure head weights are 100% accurate to your order specifications.
Step
4
Next we're ready for the glue. Shafts are glued into and aligned to the scoring line of their respective heads. Once everything is glued into place and shafts are aligned, the equipment will enter into a heating carousel, which works to dry the epoxy three times faster than if left to dry on its own.
Step
5
Ferrules are spun and shined to precise dimensions. Irons, wedges and putters have their loft and lie adjusted to to the specifications based on your order.
Step
6
Grips are aligned to the scoring line as well to assure maximum cohesion between all components of the club. Afterwards we check that the clubs are at the proper length.
Step
7
Swing weight is checked once again on a swing weight scale to ensure the final product is accurate. After everything is finalized, we'll take one more look at your spec sheet to ensure the equipment has been assembled exactly as requested.
Step
8
The equipment is now ready to be cleaned, boxed, and shipped! We thoroughly clean your equipment, gather accompanying headcovers, products, or materials that are needed. Finally, the clubs are carefully packed into one of our sexy black boxes.
